The Library
The GEOMAR Library in Kiel is one of the biggest marine science libraries in Germany.
We offer a place for learning and lively discussions about marine sciences with historical and new collections and digital resources.
Equipped with the newest technical facilities we also invite you to bring your own meal and drinks and relax in the presence of good books.
We welcome everybody interested in marine sciences and climate. Furthermore we are a vital and reliable partner for all libraries not only in Schleswig-Holstein, but also of the national and international network of marine science libraries.
By covering a wide range from air-water-earth we support scientific reasearch trying to find promising solutions within the subjects of climate change and other environmental issues.
