The 14th Symposium on Tectonics, Structural Geology and Geology of Crystalline Rocks (TSK 14) will be held in Kiel (Germany) from March 28th-30th, 2012. The symposium is jointly organized by GEOMAR | Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel and the Institute of Geosciences of the Christian-Albrechts-University, Kiel. It will be accompanied by pre-symposium workshops and a post-symposium field trip.

General information

Symposium languages are English and German.

Abstracts for oral and poster contributions are invited in all topics related to Tectonics, Structural Geology and Geology of Crystalline Rocks. We specifically welcome contributions to the following sessions and workshops:

subduction zones and collisional orogens
metamorphism, deformation and geochronology
fabrics, rheology and deformation mechanisms
rifting, spreading and transform faults
brittle deformation, neotectonics and earthquake processes
pluton emplacement, volcanotectonics und impact geology
open topics

Keynote presentations will be given on these topics.
