Your PhD representation at GEOMAR

Establishment of a PhD representation as a "DokTeam" is new at GEOMAR, which itself is part of the Helmholtz Association since the beginning of 2012. The DokTeam at GEOMAR is still under development but will represent the interests of PhD students at our institute for ocean research in Kiel in the future.

DokTeam responsibilities will depend on the needs of PhD students that will range from political representation and student welfare, PhD events, mentoring and communication. 

This website will be a central place where you can find out useful information about the activities of GEOMAR DokTeam, or contact us with any questions or suggestions and find out about future and past PhD activities.
