Grünkohltour was great, thank you for coming!
Last Friday was the first ever Grünkohl Tour for PhDs from GEOMAR and ISOS. For around 2 hours we trundled the wagons through the fresh snow and crisp air, through the Düsternbrooker Gehölz, Forstbaumschule and the streets of Kiel, playing games along the way. We couldn’t have asked for better weather! Finally we ended up for ‘All-you-can-eat’ Grünkohl to warm ourselves up from top to tail after the walk.
Thanks to all of you who came on the tour and apologise to those of you who missed out this time. We hope that this is the start of something new and to see you again next year!

On 22nd of February we meet for Grünkohltour: Our tour will end up at Traum GmbH eating Grünkohl. The tour is open for PhDs in GEOMAR and ISOS but numbers are limited to 24 so it is on a first-in-first-served basis. Reserve your spot now!

Want to meet your peers? Join the monthly PhD Stammtisch!
The first Stammtisch was last week at EnVito and it was nice to see a bunch of you there. This is now a regular event for PhDs and we meet on the last working day of every month (Mon.- Fri. inclusive), not usually in the same place.
If you missed the last one, you have another chance on Thurs. 28th February.

Thanks to all of you who came along to the first GEOMAR PhD Christmas celebration on the 5th December! It was great to have such a good turnout at the event.

Dear PhDs,
this is an invitation to the first PhD Event jointly organized by your ISOS and GEOMAR representatives.
This event, "Personalize your PhD", is aimed at supporting you to finish your PhD with success!
Although we can't help you with writing it up, we can provide an infrastructure and show you which opportunities are offered by the University, the 'Future Ocean' Cluster and the GEOMAR.
We can make the information available that you will need!
This event will last approx. 2 hours and we will offer drinks for sale at student prices!
