Post-graduate education in Marine Sciences: Integrated School of Ocean Sciences (ISOS)

ISOS educational offers are supplementary to the curricular programmes in marine sciences and are focused on interdisciplinary training and development of personal skills for a scientific career.
Offers for all interested participants
In the interdisciplinary Lecture Series “The BIG questions”, senior scientists identify the open research questions in their field and give insights on future developments.
Career Evenings: Network personally with invited guests from industry, policy-making, NGOs, environmental regulators etc. and be inspired by their career paths.
During “Meet the Prof” events you can network with top-level international scientists visiting Kiel. Find out what they think are the top challenges in their field and what it takes to make a career in sciences.
Workshops on key themes are periodically conducted by us in association with partners inside and out of the University.
For current events see our website http://www.futureocean.org/isoshttp://www.isos.uni-kiel.de/
For registered ISOS PhDs
Some of our offers are accessible only for doctoral candidates who have registered with the ISOS. Through choosing to join the PhD programme, candidates gain access to additional training, mentoring, multidisciplinary exposure, financial incentives and activities that supplement their disciplinary research.
