"I am in my second year of doctoral research and work on multibeam mapping and marine geology. My work in the DokTeam and as an ISOS-representative brings people from different backgrounds and institutes together to share their experiences and support each other. With the upcoming NextGen@Helmholtz conference, we are looking forward to extend this effort to a national level."

"Working in the climate modeling department I analyze the ability of the Kiel Climate Model to simulate El Niño/Southern Oscillation. By being part of the DokTeam I want to contribute to a stronger PhD community at GEOMAR and possibly have an impact on PhD life at our institute."

"Since October 2015 I am doing my PhD at GEOMAR focusing on the ventilation of the oxygen minimum zones in the eastern tropical Pacific and Atlantic. My second year as PhD representative in the DokTeam is all about bringing people together. I am part of the organization team of the NextGen@Helmholtz conference in Kiel and joined Helmholtz Juniors as Events Group speaker getting the opportunity to connect with doctoral researchers throughout Germany."

"I am a second year doctoral researcher at GEOMAR, working on the geological evolution of the Cape Verde archipelago and its seamounts. As part of the DokTeam and of the Helmholtz Juniors I would like to share and exchange ideas and experiences of people from different institutes and backgrounds. It's important to bring our voice in on different levels."

"Hi! I am in my third year of my PhD and I investigate the long term effect of ocean acidification on a very simple marine phytoplankton community in the laboratory to disentangel ecological and evolutionary processes. I joined the DokTeam to contribute to uphold the positive working conditions of the doctoral candidates at the Geomar; meet and work with new people from other groups and research devisions and help organize projects and events for fellow PhDs. "
