  • GLORIA (GEOMAR Library Ocean Research Information Access)
    Unsere neue Bibliotheks-Suchmaschine GLORIA bietet Ihnen zahlreiche Vorteile gegenüber unserem bisherigen Bibliothekskatalog und kombiniert verschiedene Kataloge und Datenbanken, die wir einzeln auf unseren Web-Seiten anbieten.

Natürlich findet man alles, was man auch in einem herkömmlichen Bibliothekskatalog erwartet, einschließlich Bücher und Zeitschriften, als gedruckte sowie online Ausgabe.
Darüber hinaus wird das durchsuchbare Material erheblich erweitert und geht damit weit über den klassischen Bibliothekskatalog hinaus. So werden nun zusätzlich die aktuellen Inhaltsverzeichnisse von ca. 500 elektronischen Zeitschriften per RSS erfasst. Weiterhin werden Open Access Artikel aus relevanten Fachgebieten sowie Artikel aus älteren Zeitschriftenjahrgängen, zu denen aufgrund von Nationallizenzen der Zugang möglich ist, bei der Suche berücksichtigt. Metadaten und Volltexte aus unserem Institutional Repository „OceanRep“, sowie Forschungsdaten (Pangaea) vervollständigen die Liste der hinterlegten Datenbanken.
Durchsucht werden alle vorhandenen Informationen wie Metadaten (Autoren, Titel, Verlag usw.), Inhaltsverzeichnisse und Abstracts, sofern sie vorhanden sind, sowie Volltexte, wenn sie offen zugänglich sind.

  • Datenbankinfo-System (DBIS - GEOMAR) (Momentan umfasst das Datenbank-Infosystem 4397 Einträge. Davon sind 1620 Datenbanken frei über das Internet verfügbar. Daneben bieten die Anwenderbibliotheken zusätzlich ihren Nutzern Informationen zum eigenen Bestand lizenzierter Datenbanken. )
