2300 m Medium-sized winch

For deployments in water depth of up to 2300 m, a smaller winch may be alternatively employed with ROV KIEL 6000. This winch was originally purchased for ROV PHOCA which has an operational diving depth of 3000 m.

  • autmatic spooling system with separate 2,5 kW motor
  • cables with a bending radius of 450 mm may be used

  • approx. 35 kN tractive force with 0-75 m/min
  • breaking force: approx. 10 t
  • slip ring (Ramert) with 3 optical fibres
  • remotely controlled by cabled control unit
  • winch is mounted ot 10' container footprint
