Realtime CTD to SSV Converter

For good multibeam mapping, the sea surface sound velocity (ssv) needs to be determined.  The software reads serial port data input from Sea & Sun or Valeport CTDs, converts conductivity into salinity following Fofonoff & Millard (Unesco Report 44) and calculates ssv based on the empirical equation of DelGrosso. It can log the CTD data together with the sound velocity in a time-stamped ascii text file and at the same time outputs the sound velocity in three different formats to another serial port. Give it a try, if needed we might be able to make some small adjustments.
