  • Research interests

My research is focused on the discovery of bioactive secondary metabolites from marine macroalgae-derived fungi, which may serve as lead structures for new anticancer drugs. In my project, I am applying microbiological methods like OSMAC to enhance secondary metabolite production. For analytical chemistry, I use ultra-high performance liquid chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry as well as other detectors like UV and ELSD followed by dereplication using metabolomics tools such as molecular networking.
