Special Labs & Analytical Facilities
GEOMAR has a number of state-of-the-art special laboratories to investigate the physical, chemical and biological composition of sea water, sediments, ocean crust as well as the marine ecosystem.
These labs formally belong to individual research divisions but are used by scientists of different disciplines.
