Title
DAM ElbeXtreme: Monitoring and modelling of extreme events in the Elbe estuary and the German Bight
General information
Our goal: ElbeXtreme aims to better understand extreme events such as storm surges, heatwaves, floods and pollution events in order to strengthen the resilience of coastal ecosystems and human communities. By working with stakeholders such as local communities, national authorities and industry and building a comprehensive information and decision support system, the project contributes to increasing the resilience of the region and promotes dialogue between science, policy and practice to address the challenges in the Elbe Estuary and the German Bight.
