In this 2-day course, we will discuss the basics of economic geology, the geology and genesis of porphyry Cu-Mo-Au, skarn Cu-Zn-Pb-Ag-Au, high-sulfidation Cu-Au, low sulfidation Au-Ag and volcanic-hosted massive sulfide Cu-Zn-Pb-Ag-Au deposits.  Modern and ancient examples will be given. Exploration techniques and criteria will also be covered.
