From 13 April to 29 June 2026, Kiel University will host a series of lectures under the theme “Responsibility for the Ocean’s Heritage”. The series explores the current challenges in our relationship with the ocean, bringing together diverse perspectives from academia and professional practice.
On 8 June 2026, Katja Seebass will speak about the disappearance of starfish from the ocean and its consequences for the ecosystem.
This lecture will be held in German!
