Lecture series ‘Responsibility for the Ocean's Heritage’: Contribution by Christian Lieberum

Series of events at the University of Kiel from April to June 2026

From 13 April to 29 June 2026, Kiel University will host a series of lectures under the motto “Responsibility for the Ocean’s Heritage”. The series explores the current challenges in our relationship with the ocean, bringing together diverse perspectives from academia and professional practice.

On 11 May 2026, Christian Lieberum will emphasise the importance of seagrass for the ecosystem, particularly its role in providing natural climate protection for the sea.

This lecture will be held in German!
