National Congress on Global Learning to be held in Schleswig-Holstein for the first time
Since 2005, the WeltWeitWissen Congress has been held biennially in a different German state. This year, it will be held in Schleswig-Holstein for the first time. From 14 to 16 September 2026, the conference will be held in Lübeck, exploring the theme 'Life at the Sea – Globally and Locally'.
This three-day event provides an opportunity for exchange, a change of perspective, and new impetus in educational work. It brings together stakeholders from formal and non-formal education, politics, administration, academia, and civil society, inviting them to engage in joint dialogue. The focus is on global challenges relating to life by, with and on the sea. The programme includes lectures, panels, workshops and excursions.
