For 40 years RV POSEIDON has been in the service of science.
"Poseidon is a true "work horse" and has been in constant use by the German marine research community. Many of scientists have formed a close bond to this "old lady"", says Dr. Klas Lackschewitz, who is in charge the coordinaton of research vessel at GEOMAR.
