Summer Semster 2024
MNF-bioc-202 Geomicrobiology: Microbial element cycling in marine sediments
Block course in presence including seminar, lecture & practical course
Lecturers: Mirjam Perner, Ronny Baaske, Nicole Adam-Beyer and Stefanie Böhnke-Brandt
Dates: 10.06.2024 bis zum 21.06.2024; Mo-Fr 8am - 1pm
Location: GEOMAR/DGO/building12/3.floor/S1 Safety Labs of the Geomicrobiology
Objective: In our module the students will learn different culture-dependent and culture-independent methods to explore the benthic microbial community structure and function. A special focus will be put on the microbe of the year 2024, the cable bacteria.
