Application for climate chamber space

Anyone interested in climate chamber space has to fill out the application form in which they define and justify their wishes. For reasons of fairness and transparency, this also applies to those who already have equipment/cultures set up/in operation in the chambers in the new building (Building 5).

The query for the (respective) next year will always take place after the summer break. For longer-term projects, new applications must be submitted annually. Projects that have already been approved/are already running will be prioritized.

Here, you can download the form for applying for cultivation space in the climate chambers (Building 5 = new building).

Important: Please be aware that climate chamber capacities must be allocated according to demand and for a limited period of time, and that you may have to share a chamber with other users (simultaneously or consecutively). Therefore, please apply for the realistic space and time that you actually need for your experiments/cultures. Please factor in the time required to set up and dismantle your equipment.

We will do our best to accommodate all requests. However, applications received after the respective deadline (that will be published via email / for 2026 it is: February 2, 2026) will be given lower priority.
