GAME (Global Approach in Marine Ecology) is an internationally established research and training program dedicated to investigating the effects of global change on marine ecosystems. At the same time, GAME invests specifically in young scientists and promotes international knowledge transfer – especially between industrialized and emerging countries.

Through global comparative experiments, intensive teaching modules, and long-term collaborations, sustainable networks in marine research are created. Students are introduced to excellent scientific work at an early stage and acquire key competencies: the analysis of global data, intercultural cooperation, and the professional communication of research results.
