  • Setup of a GEOMAR Volcanology drone group for volcano monitoring (Drone group)
  • IODP Expedition 376: Drilling into the submarine Brothers Caldera (IODP 376)
  • RV Meteor cruise M141: Volcanism of the Azores
  • Project "Pyrotraces" (Co-PI): Investigation of temperature distributions in pyroclastic flows, funded by the Volkswagen foundation (Pyrotraces)

Public outreach regarding volcanic hazards, e.g. within the "Earth System Knowledge Platform" (www.eskp.de)

Teaching:
