• Geological mapping of the seafloor
• Multi-beam mapping, processing and analysis of bathymetry data
• Magmatism and tectonics of slow-spreading mid-ocean ridges
• Structural controls of hydrothermal systems
• Formation and geochemistry of massive sulfide deposits at the seafloor
