About

My main focus in marine science is bathymetry. I am a geoscienstist specialised in geoinformatics and data processing/data science and I have a major interest in generating sensible metadata as well as effective and reusable workflows. My work is principally of technical nature and comprises e.g. multibeam data processing and analysis using GIS. I believe that a comprehensive knowledge of the sea floor is key to understand ocean dynamics and marine life.
