The position is funded by the German Research Foundation project ZOOM-IN (Zooplankton Diel Vertical Migration in the Peruvian Upwelling System: Insights into Present and Future Impacts on Biogeochemistry).

The salary depends on qualification and could be up to the class E13 TVöD Bund of the German tariff for public employees. The position will be offered either as a full-time contract for 27 months or as a part-time position (75%) for three years. The position cannot be split.
