If you have not yet been contacted, we encourage you to schedule a welcome meeting with our Advisor for Early-Career Researchers, Dr. Maren Wanke (mwanke(at)geomar.de).
She will support you during your start at GEOMAR, answer your questions, and provide information on key contacts, career pathways, and funding and professional development opportunities. She will also ensure that you are subscribed to the relevant mailing lists so that you receive regular updates on events, funding opportunities, and other news.
Various exchange and networking formats are available to help you build a strong professional network within the scientific community at GEOMAR. If you have any questions or would like to get involved, please feel free to contact the Postdoc Plus Team (the elected postdoc representation) or Dr. Maren Wanke.
