Corona Pandemic: Measures taken by the Faculty   (25 Mar 2020)

Dear students,

The university has undertaken steps to protect its students and its staff in this current pandemic situation.

All classroom teaching events are cancelled without exception until 19.04.2020. Please do not come to the university but stay at home.

All examinations that were scheduled for the current examination period are cancelled. Examinations which do not require the presence of the students, such as homework or digital examinations, can still be held. Oral exams can also be held via video conference or on campus in individual cases in compliance with hygiene regulations and distance rules, provided that the students were able to prepare themselves despite the closure of the libraries and that the technical possibilities are available to them.

The examination offices and student advisory offices are closed to the public. Consultations take place online only. Most of the staff are temporarily released from their duties. Therefore, telephone counselling is only possible to a limited extent, if at all.

Please see  for a summary of these measures.

It is planned to establish online lectures in the beginning of the summer semester and to ensure that this way, teaching will continue. At the moment, it is not yet certain when classroom teaching can be resumed. Further information will be available soon.
