01. - 02.10.2012: “3rd Young Scientists Conference: Interdisciplinary Approaches to Global Change”

The “3rd Young Scientists Conference: Interdisciplinary Approaches to Global Change” this year will take place in Kiel - Graduate Centre, Leibniz Strasse 1-3 on 1-2 October, 2012.

The annual meeting is jointly organized by early career scientists of the three marine and climate Clusters of Excellence of Kiel (Future Ocean), Bremen (MARUM), and Hamburg (CliSAP). PhD Students and Postdocs from the three Clusters and associated institutes are invited to participate and to submit an abstract to one of the scientific sessions focusing on climate, marine, and Earth System research, including nature-society interactions. The goal is to discuss and share expertise on these interconnected topics and to strengthen collaborations on an early career stage. The deadline for Abstract submission is 1st July, 2012. Registration ends 1st September, 2012.
