This device is a so called „Continuous Flow Analyzer“, an automated system for the determination of dissolved inorganic nutrients, especially in seawater. We determine the components orthophosphate, nitrite, nitrate and silicate in seawater samples.

The measuring ranges for these components are given by the system configuration.

1. Orthophosphate: 0,1-5 µmol/L 
2. Nitrite: 0,05-5 µmol/L mit 
3. Nitrate: 0,1-80 µmol/L 
4. Silicate: 0,2-80 µmol/L 

Samples with higher nutrient concentrations must be pre-diluted (see preparation).
